Colors of your prints looking wrong?

If your prints don't have the colors you expect, you may need to turn on the setting for printer color profiles

You need to update to iOS app version 1.53.3 (released May 28, 2026) to be able to follow the steps in this article. Go to the App Store if you're not sure.

Printing to CUPS that does not have color management

If you are printing to PBSCO "Chips" or macOS' native printer sharing, these CUPS implementations do not have any color management.

The Booth.Events app includes color profiles for these popular DNP printers: DS-820A, DS-40, DS-80, DS-620A, DS-RX1/HS, QW-410.

By default the app does not apply these color profiles, because the print server / printer usually does this for you. But for PBSCO Chips and macOS printer sharing, you need to turn on the setting to have these color profiles applied.

Where to turn on the setting

Do NOT turn this setting on if you are using devices that do color management, like DNP WCM Plus, Aircast Pro, Print.Events on Windows, AirPrint printers, or any other print server with color management.

In the iOS app, on the last page of settings, near the bottom, turn this on:
