If you're new to AI prompts, just describe what you want in plain English, like you're describing it to a coworker - Booth.Bot turns that into a complete, ready-to-use prompt. Let's walk through a real example.
We typed one simple sentence to Booth.Bot:
"Create a prompt where the subject looks like they just won the Stanley Cup with a hockey team based out of Hamilton, Ontario."
That's it — just a plain description. Booth.Bot took it from there and wrote out a full, detailed prompt for us in the Prompt box below. Whether you're brand new to prompts or you'd normally write this yourself, it's a fast way to get a strong starting point.
Now let's improve it. Booth.Bot already suggested a few next steps, but let's try asking for something called a dynamic element.
A dynamic element is a spot in your prompt where the guest picks from a few options right at the photo booth. Instead of locking in one fixed detail yourself, you set up the choices, and the guest selects which one they want when they take their photo. Here, we'll create one for the trophy.
Guests choose through a short survey on the iPad, which appears after they pick their template and before they step up to capture their photo.
There are three types of dynamic elements:
Single Line Text Input — the guest types their own short answer.
Text Multi Select — the guest picks from a list of preset text options. (This is the type we'll use below, for choosing a trophy.)
Image Multi Select — the guest picks from a set of preset images. This type requires Pro+; Single Line Text Input and Text Multi Select are available on any Pro-level event.
You can add a dynamic element three ways: type ":" while writing your prompt, click the Add a dynamic element button, or ask Booth.Bot to add one for you in chat — that's what we'll do here.
One more thing before we continue: in the Prompt box, purple text marks a dynamic element - click it any time to edit its options. Phrasing is what it inputs into the Prompt, if you edit the element you can also edit what the guest sees and how the information is shown in the post event CSV. Green highlights mean something different: they mark text Booth.Bot just changed or added, so you can see what it did at a glance.
Again, one short request was enough — Booth.Bot added the trophy options directly into the prompt for us (you can see the purple highlighted text in the screenshot).
Next, let's generate a test image to see how it looks so far.
The hockey photo turned out well - but Booth.Bot noticed something we missed: if a guest picks a different trophy, the sport in the photo wouldn't match anymore. It suggested fixing this automatically. That's a great catch, so let's accept the suggestion.
And that's the finished prompt - now every guest gets a photo where the sport actually matches the trophy they picked, all built through a short back-and-forth in plain English.
