Quick answer: Booth.Events finds the Salsa 1 LED ring by its controller name, SP107E. If yours was renamed to the booth serial (like S4-XXXX-XXXXXX), rename it back to SP107E in the free LED Hue app, then restart Booth.Events.
⚠️ Important: This fix is for Salsa 1 only. Salsa 2 and Guac use a different LED controller that Booth.Events does not support. On those booths, set the ring to Lamp Mode in the Fiesta app. See How to: LED Control.
How do I know this is my problem?
You have a Salsa 1 booth.
You tap the LED button on the Booth.Events home screen and no LED controller shows up, even after restarting the app.
The ring still lights up (for example, solid white Lamp Mode) and may still pair in Fiesta, so it has power.
Before you start
Install the iPad in the booth and plug the Salsa 1 into power.
Turn on Bluetooth on the iPad.
Force close Fiesta and the old Salsa app if either is installed. The LED controller can only talk to one app at a time, so if another app is holding it, Booth.Events cannot see it.
💡 Tip: The Salsa 1 LED controller does not show up in the iPad Settings → Bluetooth list. That is normal. You will only see it inside an LED app.
How do I rename the controller to SP107E?
Step 1: Install LED Hue
On the booth iPad, download LED Hue from the App Store (listed by Shenzhen Sperll Optoelectronic). It works with SP107E controllers and lets you change the controller name.
Step 2: Find your Salsa 1 controller
Open LED Hue and wait a few seconds for nearby controllers to appear. Your Salsa 1 controller shows up under its current name, usually the booth serial number (it starts with S1 to S5, for example S4-XXXX-XXXXXX). Tap it to connect.
Step 3: Rename it, then close LED Hue
Long press the connected device and tap Rename. Type SP107E exactly (capital letters, no spaces or extra characters) and save. Then force close LED Hue so it lets go of the controller.
LED Hue screens from the App Store. The example controller is an SP110E; yours will show the booth serial until you rename it.
⚠️ Important: Only change the name. Do not change the RGB order, IC/chip type or pixel count in LED Hue, or the ring may show the wrong colors.
Step 4: Restart Booth.Events and connect
Force close Booth.Events, then open it again. The app looks for LED controllers during the first 5 minutes after it opens.
Tap the LED button on the home screen.
Your controller should now show as SP107E. Tap Profile at the top and select Salsa 1 (SP107E).
Example shows an SP110E. Yours will say SP107E. Signal strength tells you which booth is closest.
Set your colors and brightness for each app state. See How to: LED Control for what each state does.

Make sure Fiesta, the Salsa app and LED Hue are all force closed. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth and confirm Booth.Events is switched on. Unplug the Salsa 1 from power for 15 to 30 seconds, plug it back in, then restart Booth.Events and open the LED panel within 5 minutes.
I have more than one Salsa 1 renamed to SP107E. How do I tell them apart?
I have more than one Salsa 1 renamed to SP107E. How do I tell them apart?
They will all show as SP107E. In the LED panel, use the signal strength (higher % = closer) to pick the booth you are standing at, and tap Disconnect & Ignore on the others. Powering on one booth at a time while you connect also helps.

Restart Booth.Events. If it is still stuck, power cycle the booth and reconnect from the LED panel.
