Booth.Events version 1.53.3 and later can connect over bluetooth to your OrcaVue 360 spinner booth. Once connected the app will automatically start the spinner when the countdown starts, and stop it when the capture is finished.

How to Connect your OrcaVue

  1. Set the OrcaVue's DIR switch to the middle APP position.

  2. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the iPhone/iPad/Mac you are using.

  3. When within range, you'll see the Orcavue menu item appear in the in-event menu:

3. When you tap that button, the OrcaVue settings page appears. Tap the Connect button:

4. After you're connected, choose your direction (Forward or Reverse), the delay from countdown (0 means that the spinner arms starts as soon as countdown starts), and the speed (from 0 to 100).

That's it!

The app will automatically reconnect to an OrcaVue unit if its serial number matches the most recent OrcaVue unit the app connected to, as long as it is in range. This includes transient disconnections (your OrcaVue booth lost power for a moment), and app startup (your iPhone just started the Booth.Events app). To stop this from happening, after the app connects hit the "Disconnect" button:
