How to: Event Analytics & Client Reports

Written by Shane McLoughlin

You've always had analytics on your events — now there's a lot more data, and a brand new way to share your results with your clients: the Client Report.

Where to Find It

Account Analytics

From your dashboard, select Analytics on the right side to see analytics across your whole account.

Event Analytics

Scroll down on any event to see an analytics preview, then select Get full event analytics to open the full view.

What's in Your Analytics

Pro+ gives you full access to both Account Analytics and every event's full analytics. Pro and Basic accounts are more limited in what they can see.

The full analytics view is for you, the operator - it answers how a specific event performed. It includes:

Sessions

One session per guest who completes a capture flow on the iPad , this means a guest can take multiple photos in a single session. When a guest takes a photo and then selects to get their photo via a delivery action that is when the session is complete.

Media

Total media captured for the event, including photos, videos, slow-mo, and AI photos.

Views

Anytime a session is viewed. This does not count general gallery views.

Shares

Anytime a guest taps to share a photo session outside of the gallery, or downloads photos from a session.

Emails & Texts Sent

The number of emails and SMS/texts sent from the iPad.

AI Usage

AI prompts used, AI portraits used, and total AI credits spent — plus a breakdown of your top-performing AI prompts and portraits, so you can see what worked well across your events.

Guest Activity

A timeline graph showing when views and shares happened. Most useful for long-running or permanent installations rather than single-night events.

Channels, Capture Types & Devices

Breakdowns of how guests engaged - email vs. SMS, which capture types were used (e.g. AI photos vs. AI portraits), and what devices guests viewed their gallery on.

The Client Report

From the full analytics view, select Create (or Edit, if a report already exists) to build a Client Report. Unlike your own analytics, the Client Report is meant to be sent to your client — it's built to demonstrate the value of the event to them (why they hired you, and why they should book you again).

The report has a live preview: as you make changes, the preview updates after a moment so you can see exactly what your client will see. A button linking to the gallery is included automatically, and you can add your own title and message.

Customizing Your Report

- Choose a color theme for the report.

- Choose which metrics and sections to include or hide.

- Choose how many top (most-viewed) photos to display.

- Choose a date range. This defaults to the whole event, but you can narrow it — for example, if you're sending a report on the same long-running event every month, set it to the last 30 days.

- Add your own title, message, and a single button (with your own link).

- For more advanced customization, use the Content Builder — the same tool used to customize your galleries — to add your own blocks of content (text, images, links, buttons, and HTML), placed above or below the stats section.

- After editing custom content, click out of the editor and give the preview a moment to refresh.

- The report shows "Prepared by [Your Account Name]" — this is your own account/company name, not Booth.Events

Sharing Your Report

Toggle the Share link on to publish the report, then select Copy link to copy its shareable URL. Paste that link into an SMS, email, WhatsApp, your CRM - wherever you communicate with your client. You can also open the link yourself to preview exactly what your client will see.

A Few Things to Know

- The Client Report link is generated based on your Shared.Gallery link settings. If you're using a custom domain or a custom event link, the report link follows that — see How To: Event Links. If you change your event's link after sharing a report, the previously shared report link will break.

- Viewing your own gallery counts toward the Views metric — your own checks will inflate that number.

- Share, Channels, Capture Types, Devices, and Guest Activity data have only been tracked since July 2026 — events that ran before then will show N/A for these metrics.

- Full event analytics and the Client Report are Pro+ features. Pro and Basic accounts get a more limited set of event-level data Sessions, Media, Views, Emails, SMS, and AI Usage (prompts, portraits, credits spent) with no access to Account Analytics.
