Requirements for the account owner:
Pro + Plan
Booth.Events App version 1.59.0
Device running iOS 17.2 or later
Mac with M-series processor (M1, M2 etc)
What the Event Invitee cannot do:
Edit any event assets - this includes templates, Attract screen, stickers.
The Operator cannot turn off Shared.Gallery.
Have photos save to their camera roll.
Cannot disable the settings button.
Cannot change passcode to open settings
Cannot edit any language settings.
Creating an invite
To access Event Invites, navigate to the Account page on your web dashboard:
The Event Invites page will display the current active invites, a tab to see previous invites and some links to access the event, remote-in to the device as well as remove the invite.
Select "Create Event Invite" from the top right corner of the Event Invites page
Fill out the corresponding form with the following information:
Label - Assign a label for the operator to help you organize them
Select Event - Choose from a list of your events
Email
Notes - any additional details you'd like to communicate to the operator
Access End Date - Leave this empty if there is no end date
Once saved you will be presented with the invite details page which displays the QR code and event invite code. The operator will also receive an email to the address listed above with the event invite link.
Once you are done you will be sent back to the main Event invites page which will show the newly created invite along with its details.
Selecting "Manage" will allow you to regenerate and resend the invite if necessary. (Be advised that this option is only available BEFORE the invite is accepted)
Accepting an Invite
A Booth.Events account is not required to accept an Event Invite.
Open up the Booth.events app and select the 4th sign in option "Join with an event invite"
Once you've selected the option to join event invite you'll be prompted to either scan the QR code or type in the code (please note this code is case sensitive).
Once the invite has been scanned you will be presented with the details of the event and the option to accept
And you're in!
