You created an event or template on the dashboard, but it isn't showing in the iPad app. Work through these checks in order.
Why can't I see my event on the iPad?
1. Check you're logged into the same account
You don't log into an event. Once you log into your Booth.Events account on the iPad, it shows all your events. Make sure the account on the iPad is the same one you use on the dashboard, especially if you ever swap accounts on that iPad or have more than one account.
2. Check if a schedule is active
If the iPad has an event schedule turned on, it locks the iPad to the scheduled event and other events won't show.
On the dashboard, go to the Devices page.
Tap the Schedule area for that iPad.
Toggle the switch off.
Only set the schedule once everything is locked in. See How to Close the booth and Schedule Events.
3. Update the app
Make sure the Booth.Events app is up to date from the App Store.
4. Sign out and back in on the iPad
Sign out of your account on the iPad, then sign back in. There's no need to sign out of the dashboard.
5. Force close the app, then restart the iPad
Force close the Booth.Events app and reopen it.
If that doesn't help, power cycle the iPad: go to Settings > General > Shut Down. Once it's off, disconnect and reconnect the power to turn it back on.
You shouldn't need to do this every time, just if things get stuck.
6. Check pending uploads
Look at the pending uploads box in the iPad app. If uploads are stuck, see Photos Have Not Uploaded or SMS Not Sending.
Why isn't my template showing?
On the templates page, select My Templates in the top right corner to check the template is saved to your account.
Update the app, then sign out and back in on the iPad.
For an AI template, make sure the AI prompt capture type is toggled on for that template on the dashboard, and that the right capture types (for example Photo and AI prompt) are selected in the event's capture types.
Common questions
I can't find an older event on the dashboard.
The dashboard shows your most recent 30 events. See Troubleshooting: Cannot Locate event.
Do I need an event code to open an event?
No. The event code is just something you enter yourself if you want to share it with other people.
Still not showing?
